Celeste Carballo is an Argentine singer-songwriter. She was born in Buenos
Aires, Argentina on September 21, 1956, and gained prominence in the 1980s for
her powerful voice and performances in the blues and hard rock genres. She
started her music career as a performer in various bands, even singing as a
backup vocalist for acts such as Argentine supergroup La Máquina de Hacer
Pájaros and legendary singer-songwriter Palito Ortega. In 1982, she recorded her
debut album Me Vuelvo Cada Día Más Loca, featuring original compositions as well
as a couple of covers (including “Desconfío,”...
