Born Cécilia Gruffaz in Cannes on June 5, 1984, Cécilia Cara is a French singer and actress. A student at the Stanislas Catholic Institute in Cannes, Cécilia Cara made a name for herself in 1999 when she took part in the Graines de star TV show on M6. Presenter Laurent Boyer encouraged her to audition for Gérard Presgurvic's musical Roméo et Juliette, de la Haine à l'Amour. She won the role of Juliet, which she played for over two years.
