Can Bonomo (May 16, 1987) is a Turkish singer and actor of Sephardic Jewish
descent, better known for representing Turkey at the Eurovision Song Contest in
2012. Born in the city of İzmir, he moved to Istanbul at the age of 17 to study
TV and cinema at the Istanbul Bilgi University, where he became a renowned radio
host. Shortly after releasing his debut album Meczup (2011), Can Bonomo was
selected to represent Turkey at the 57th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest,
