Brain Damage
Brain Damage Sound System, or Brain Damage, have been spreading their electro
dub since 1999. The duo, consisting of a sound engineer and a bassist, made
their debut in 2002 with Always Greener (On the Other Side), a veritable
manifesto ofFrench-style electro dub. 2004'sAshes to Ashes - Dub to Dub rewrites
the Jamaican tradition with two sung tracks, each in five versions. Spoken Dub
Manifesto brought dub poetry up to date in 2006. Turning each album into a
concept, Brain Damage released the highly adventurous Short Cuts in 2008. The
band reaches its zenith in 2010 with Burning B...
