Formed in Melbourne, Australia, in 1985, the pop/band Boom Crash Opera is best
known for the double-platinum Australian release These Here Are Crazy Times, as
well as the 1989 international hit "Onion Skin." Rooted in the songwriting
partnership of guitarists Richard Pleasance and Peter Farnan, the group debuted
with the self-titled album Boom Crash Opera in 1987. The album's lead single,
