Canadian country performer Bobby Wills had an interest in music while he was
growing up, but his adoptive family wasn’t artistically inclined, even if his
dad was a big country music fan. After some success at an open mic night as a
teenager and discovering that his biological family had a number of musicians in
it, Wills focused on a career in music. He spent his early 20s between his
