Tom Howie and Jim Vallance, the members of Grammy-winning Canadian electronic
duo Bob Moses, met at middle school in Vancouver but assembled the band in New
York City in 2012. Jim Vallance cut his teeth as a trance and progressive house
producer while also laying down Sia remixes and releases on Ultra Records. Tom
Howie spent a year studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston before joining
the rock band Coalition. The two acquaintances randomly crossed paths at the
