Bob & Doug McKenzie are a pair of fictional characters created and played by
Canadian comedians Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas as part of the cult comedy
sketch show SCTV. The hosts of a made-up show called The Great White North,
brothers Bob & Doug McKenzie utilized the most common Canadian stereotypes to
great comedic effect, achieving great popularity in both Canada and the US. The
success of the sketch led the duo to record a McKenzie Brothers album, 1982’s
