Clémence Lhomme, born on February 25, 1965 in Suresnes, Île-de-France, founded
the duo Blues Trottoir in 1987 with saxophonist Olivier Defays, son of actor
Pierre Richard. Their first album, Histoires Courtes, was released in 1988, a
year after the huge success of their first single "Un soir de pluie". It brought
them acclaim the same year, when the two musicians were named "Artists of the
