Blanca kicked off her career as lead singer of the Christian hip-hop ensemble
Group 1 Crew during the late 2000s, then rebranded herself as a successful solo
artist after leaving the group in 2013. She was born as "Blanca Elaine Reyes" in
Puerto Rico on February 10, 1986. Her father struggled with substance abuse
before finding solace in Christianity, and Blanca grew up in an enthusiastically
religious household. She later moved to Orlando, Florida, where she joined Group
