Black K, whose real name is Gnabo Gnahoré Okou Camille, was born in Agou,
south-east Côte d'Ivoire, on December 21, 1993. He is the son of the famous
Ivorian percussionist and singer Boni Gnahoré, one of the co-founders of Ki-Yi
Mbock, an artistic training center created in 1985, where Black K grew up. He
discovered a real aptitude for music as a child and embraced hip-hop as a
teenager. Although he began by following in the footsteps of his role models,
such as La Fouine, Booba, Garba 50 and Lil Wayne, he soon took his destiny into
