Bill LaBounty, a Pacific Northwest native, began his career at 19, signing with
RCA Records with his rock band before going solo. He released albums with
Twentieth Century Fox Records and Warner Bros., achieving hits like Never Gonna
Look Back, Livin’ It Up, and This Night Won’t Last Forever. In 1983, he met his
wife, songwriter Beckie Foster, leading to collaborative successes, including
Steve Wariner’s The Weekend. As a prolific songwriter, his work spans pop and
country, with over 100 songs recorded by major artists, earning 25 BMI Awards.
