Zhou Bichang, commonly known as Bibi Zhou, was born on July 26, 1985, in
Changsha, Hunan, China, and later moved to Shenzhen. She pursued non-classical
music at the Xinghai Conservatory of Music, and her early fame stemmed from
placing second in the 2005 Super Girl contest in China. She swiftly moved into
music and acting, releasing her debut album Who Touched My Violin String in 2006
and featuring in Chinese films like McDull, the Alumni and The 601st Phone Call.
