Beth, born Elisabeth Rodergas Cols on December 23, 1981, in Súria, Barcelona,
gained national attention in 2003 as a finalist on the singing competition
Operación Triunfo’s second season, later representing Spain at the Eurovision
with the song "Dime." Though she expressed initial reluctance toward the song,
it quickly became a hit, topping Spanish charts and making her a household name.
Following Eurovision, Beth released her debut album Otra realidad, which
achieved double platinum status with hits like "Dime" and "Parando el tiempo."
