Belanova
Latin Grammy award-winning electro-pop outfit Belanova formed in Jalisco,
Guadalajara in 2000. Led by singer Denisse Guerrero, keyboardist Edgar Huerta,
and bass player Ricardo "Richie" Arreola, the group signed to Virus Records, a
subsidiary of Universal Music, and made its debut in 2003 with the album
Cocktail. Produced by Alex Midi Ortega, the album reached the Top 5 of the
Mexican charts after its lead single "Tus Ojos" was included in a Mitsubishi ad.
