A blend of indie-pop and rock, Bastille were formed in London, England, in 2010
as a solo project for singer Dan Smith, but later expanded to include
keyboardist Kyle Simmons, bassist/guitarist Will Farquarson and drummer Chris
"Woody" Wood. Their discography opened in 2011 with the first of a dozen EPs
made along the way, the self-produced Laura Palmer. This was followed by a debut
album, Bad Blood, which was released in 2013 and reached No. 1, thanks in
particular to the single "Pompeii", which landed at No. 2 in the UK charts. Its
