Banda Conmoción
Banda Conmoción is a Chilean ensemble that blends cumbia with a variety of
genres like gypsy music, ska, and cha-cha-cha, making them a significant part of
the New Chilean Cumbia movement. Formed in 2001 after originating from the
theater troupe Mendicantes in 1997, the band has built a reputation for their
dynamic and unconventional performances in public spaces like plazas, weddings,
and street corners before transitioning to bigger stages such as Galpón Víctor
