Austra
Austra is an electro music trio. It brings together Katie Stelmanis and Maya
Postepski, who had previously collaborated in the group Galaxy, and Dorian Wolf.
Formed in 2010, the Toronto-based trio first released the Beat and The Pulse EP.
It's also the title of the first single from Feel It Break, released in May
2011. Qualified for the Polaris Prize, it faded away in favor of Arcade Fire.
Katie Stelmanis, responsible for all compositions and vocals, made her second
successful move in June 2013 with the album Olympia, from which the single
