The son of a music teacher and a Church pastor, Austin French began singing at
an early age, and after attending a Christian music camp, decided to become a
musician. He formed a band with some friends from high school and spent the
weekends travelling and performing in small venues. In 2014, he took part in the
American TV talent show 'Rising Star' and impressed the judges with his
combination of Christian and mainstream songs. He came second in the competition
and spent the next few years perfecting his songwriting skills. At this time he
