Anwar Sardar Malik (November 2, 1960), professionally known as Anu Malik, is an
award-winning Indian film composer, arranger, and playback singer. The son of
director Sardar Malik, he was born in Bombay and quickly followed his father’s
footsteps by writing original music for the film Hunterwali 77 in 1977 under the
