Singer, songwriter, and musician Anna Ternheim was born in Stockholm, Sweden on
May 31, 1978. Inspired at a young age by artists like Bob Dylan, David Bowie,
Neil Young, and Leonard Cohen, she began to learn guitar and write her own
songs. At the age of 17, she spent a year in Atlanta, Georgia and formed her
first band, Sova, performing live in various venues. After studying in France
and then completing schooling in Sweden, she decided to pursue music as a
career. She released her debut album, Somebody Outside, in 2004. The album was a
