As a fiddle player and Americana singer-songwriter, Amanda Shires has achieved
success not only with her string of solo albums, but also as a member of The
Highwomen and her husband's band, Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit. Born in
Lubbock, Texas, on March 5, 1982, she started to play the violin as a child.
