Alex G
After self-releasing a number of his own indie rock records, Alex G began
attracting wider notice in 2014, leading to a string of Top 10 albums on
Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart during the decade that followed. He was born
as "Alexander Giannascoli" on February 3, 1993, and raised in Havertown,
Pennsylvania. Active in various bands as a high school student, he made his
official debut in 2010 with Race. Two more independent records, Winner and
Rules, followed in 2011 and 2012, respectively. Alex G soon landed his first
